How your information is used
This page explains how Mangrove Graduate Navigator uses your information in plain language. Research use and follow-up contact are separate choices and are not hidden inside a long legal document.
Who operates the service
Mangrove Graduate Navigator is a graduate career-navigation product operated by Mangrove Intelligence and presented as A Mangrove Intelligence product. For general product support, email support@mangroveintel.com. For privacy questions, deletion requests, or withdrawal from research/follow-up contact, email privacy@mangroveintel.com.
To generate your result
Your assessment answers are stored so the platform can generate and later reproduce your career result. The system records the assessment version, recommendation-engine version and the input snapshot used at the time. Starting the assessment accepts the product terms needed to provide this service; it does not by itself grant research reuse.
Research use is optional
After you have received the free result, you may separately allow your de-identified assessment responses to be used to improve the service and for research on graduate career pathways. This choice is unchecked by default and does not change your result. If you do not opt in, the assessment is still available for its ordinary product purpose.
Optional longitudinal follow-up
On the same post-result research screen, you may separately choose to be contacted for short follow-ups about job search, skill-building and work outcomes around 3, 6 and 12 months. If you choose follow-up, you may provide either an email address or mobile number. Contact information is stored separately from assessment responses and linked through an internal research ID. Institution type is optional and is collected only within this post-result research choice.
Consent history
The platform keeps the assessment-start product consent separate from later research and follow-up choices. A later research opt-in is recorded as a new consent event rather than rewriting what you originally chose.
Retention and deletion
Follow-up contact details are kept for no more than 15 months from the assessment date, which allows the planned 3-, 6- and 12-month follow-ups plus a short reconciliation period, unless you withdraw earlier. Assessment and result records used for the ordinary product service are kept for up to 24 months after your most recent product activity, then deleted or anonymized unless a longer period is needed for a legal, security or transaction obligation. If you separately consent to research, de-identified research records may be kept for up to 5 years from collection; after that they are deleted or retained only in a form that can no longer reasonably be linked back to you. You can request deletion or withdraw from future research/follow-up at any time by emailing privacy@mangroveintel.com. If information has already been irreversibly anonymized, it can no longer be identified as yours for deletion.
Hosting and service providers
The database and authentication layer use Supabase; the current Supabase project region is ap-south-1. The web front end at graduate.mangroveintel.com is hosted through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare is also used for the private API gateway, DNS and invisible Turnstile bot protection. Turnstile runs in the background without a visible verification step; Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum explains the limited data processed for this security function: Turnstile Privacy Addendum. Public support and privacy email are handled through Zoho Mail at support@mangroveintel.com and privacy@mangroveintel.com. No private mailbox address is published. We do not intentionally collect raw IP addresses for research. If coarse IP-derived geography is ever introduced, it will be disclosed separately and will not be treated as equivalent to a person's residence.
Identity and research data
The platform is designed to keep contact information separate from the analytical research layer. Research records use internal identifiers rather than names, email addresses or phone numbers.
What the result means
The service provides career-navigation guidance, not a guarantee of employment and not a validated psychological diagnosis. Internal tuning parameters are not shown as false-precision “employability scores.”
External job links
Where the platform links to vacancies or job-search sites, the original publisher remains responsible for the listing. Applications take place on the original source rather than through this platform.
